WATCH: ALUNAGEORGE SHUTS DOWN CREEPY GUYS FOR MUSIC VIDEO ‘MEAN WHAT I MEAN’

This is the electronic dance banger for all you gals (and guys) who've ever felt like you were being sleazed on at the club.

Following eargasmic hits I Remember, My Blood and guest appearances in Kaytranada’s Together and Flume’s Innocence this year, English electronic duo AlunaGeorge prove they’re in no shortage of indie bangers with their new single ‘Mean What I Mean’.

Mean What I Mean features female rappers Dreezy and Leikeli47, who are so kickass that the latter has achieved anonymity by only wearing a balaclava when performing. The music video features the ladies dancing in a desert landscape, showing off their smooth moves and envy-worthy style.

If there’s one descriptor that could be used to describe this song, it would be sassy AS F***, with Aluna Francis’ syrupy vocals and no-nonsense delivery of lyrics “Better keep your hands to yourself/If you don't wanna see me get mental/I'm just here to have a good time”. You tell them, sister.

Against the backdrop of George Reid’s dancehall-inspired tune and upbeat, ricocheting tempo, Dreezy and Leikeli47 spit fire at sleazes who can’t take no for an answer with their respective, scathing lines “Called him little bird and put him back up in the friendzone… you can look but you can't touch/High heels and high standards, ain't gotta say much” and “When we see a creep, we put 'em to sleep”. If that doesn’t make you wanna jam to this sizzling concoction of girl power, diss track and electronic dance banger, I don’t know what will.

Mean What I Mean comes from AlunaGeorge’s upcoming album I Remember.
