[follow_me] Walt Disney Pictures have released the first trailer for 'The jungle Book,' directed by Jon Favreau as the live-action remake to the 1967 animated film, marking Disney's second attempt at bringing Rudyard Kipling's novel to the big screen.

If these cg-animated animals looked any more real they may have come straight out of The Discovery Channel.

'The Jungle Book' follows Mowgli (Neel Sethi), an orphan boy raised by wolves, forced into exile and thrust into the wilderness.

It goes without saying (but in case you miss it, we're going to say it anyway) that 'The Jungle Book' looks incredible. Beauty and transcendent don't even begin to describe just how jaw dropping the visuals are, because these animals are photorealistic, no doubt about it. The only concern is that the awe inspiring effects take away from the narrative or become too distracting, but I don't think that will be a problem when the visuals look so damn real.
