Kanye channels the raw power and unbridled ferocity of the female body in the MV for Fade. At a deeper level, it’s a celebration of African dance and culture. If a lioness were to be put in human form, Teyana Taylor would be it!
Kanye has cleverly married stunning choreography with a woman that can really m o v e. Taylor pops and locks around the gym setup, and it’s impossible not to be completely captivated by her form. Stick around to the end if you want to see a pussy (cat).
These visual perfectly complement the tribal vibes Kanye channels in this track. However, I reckon Fade would benefit from a little less auto-tune.
